Massimo Vitali's Biography
Massimo Vitali is an Italian photographer and cinematographer born in 1944 in Como, Italy. He is known for his large format color photography of beach and leisure scenes. His works are characterized by their panoramic views and by their use of vivid colors and complex composition, which capture the grandeur of the natural environment and the human figures within it. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group shows around the world, including at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He is currently based in Lucca, Italy.
