Marine Hugonnier's Biography
Marine Hugonnier is a French contemporary artist born in 1969. She is best known for her works on paper, which often explore themes of identity, displacement and the relationship between people and the environment. Her works are often layered and richly textured, and feature a variety of materials. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in France and abroad, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Guggenheim Bilbao. Her work is part of the permanent collections of several major museums, including the Centre Pompidou, the Tate Modern and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
