Marcel Odenbach is a German artist known for his video works, installations, and performance pieces which explore the complex nature of identity and culture in the modern world. Born in 1953 in Cologne, Germany, Odenbach studied art history, philosophy, and German literature at the universities of Bonn and Cologne. He has exhibited worldwide, with solo exhibitions at venues such as the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, and the National Museum of Modern Art Kyoto (MOMAK).
