Marc Camille Chaimowicz is a French contemporary artist and designer, born in 1947. He is known for his multimedia installations and furniture designs, which combine modernist minimalism with poetic and humorous elements. Chaimowicz's installations often involve everyday objects, such as chairs or lamps, that have been arranged in unexpected ways. He has exhibited extensively throughout Europe, including at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Tate Modern in London, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He has also collaborated with fashion brands such as Comme des Garçons and Hermès. Chaimowicz is influenced by a wide range of artistic movements, including surrealism, postmodernism and dadaism.
