Manolo Valdés's Biography
Manolo Valdés (born 8 March 1942) is a Spanish artist known for his post-war movements. He works in painting and sculpture and his works are often associated with Pop Art. He is widely known for his series of sculptures of female heads and figures, which combine elements of classical art and modern art. He has exhibited around the world and his works can be found in several major art collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid.
