Loretta Fahrenholz's Biography

Loretta Fahrenholz is a German artist born in 1981, best known for her work in film and photography. She is a leader in the Ultra-Contemporary art movement, which is a genre of art focused on exploring the digital age and its effects on the human experience. She has created a number of experimental films and videos that explore themes of identity and the future of technology. Her films have been shown at numerous film festivals around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Berlinale, and the Toronto International Film Festival. She has also had solo exhibitions at various galleries and institutions, including the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Montréal, the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst in Leipzig, and the Kunsthalle Hamburg.
