Leonor Antunes's Biography
Leonor Antunes is a Portuguese sculptor who was born in 1972. She is a contemporary artist whose work focuses on the use of natural materials to create sculpture. She has exhibited widely, including solo shows at the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the Serralves Museum in Porto, the KW Institute in Berlin, and the Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo. Her work is held in numerous public and private collections, including the Mercedes Benz Art Collection in Stuttgart. She has won numerous awards, including the International Prize for Contemporary Art in 2020 and the Maria Helena Vieira da Silva Prize in 2021.
