Laurie Anderson's Biography
Laurie Anderson is an American artist, composer, and musician. She is best known for her multimedia performance works, which incorporate a wide range of media including video, music, spoken word, and multimedia sculpture. She has exhibited her work extensively internationally, including in galleries and museums, and has performed at venues including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Anderson has also collaborated with numerous musicians, including Lou Reed and David Bowie. She has released several albums and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
