Koen Vanmechelen's Biography
Koen Vanmechelen is a contemporary Belgian artist, born in 1965. He is best known for his painting and sculptural works. His art combines elements from different cultures, creating a unique visual language. He has exhibited his work at numerous international galleries and museums, such as the Bozar Museum in Brussels, the Barbican Centre in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
