Katja Strunz's Biography
Katja Strunz is a German contemporary artist who works with various media, including collage, objects and installation art. Born in 1970, Strunz received her B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld in 1994. She has since exhibited her work extensively throughout Germany and abroad, participating in solo and group shows in galleries, museums, and biennials.
Strunz's art is often inspired by her personal experiences and observations. She often uses everyday objects to create works that explore the power of perception and the relationship between the individual and the environment. Her work often reflects on the tension between the individual and the collective, as well as the ways in which the past influences the present.
