Julius von Bismarck

Julius von Bismarck is an Ultra-Contemporary German artist, born in 1983. He works in photography, time-based media and installation art. Von Bismarck studied at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne and the Academy of Arts in Berlin. His work has been featured in several exhibitions including Breathing Water, Drinking Air in 2022 at Philara - Sammlung zeitgenössischer Kunst in Dusseldorf, Germany and Elementarteile. Grundbausteine des Sprengel Museum Hannover und seiner Kunst in 2019 at Sprengel Museum Hannover in Hannover, Germany. The artist's work deals with themes related to science, technology, the environment and our relationship to nature. He uses his work to explore the tension between man and nature, and to examine the impact of technology on our lives.
