JR's Biography
JR is a French contemporary street artist and photographer who was born in 1983. His works are often politically charged with a focus on social issues and global awareness. He is known for his large-scale outdoor installations, often involving the use of photography and improvisation. He has gained international recognition for his works and has exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. His art has been featured in films and documentaries as well as in publications. JR is also the founder of the organization “JR: Patamar”, which focuses on providing art education to children in Brazil and Nepal.
