John Bock's Biography
John Bock is a contemporary German artist best known for his work in time-based media, installation art, and performance/happening art. Born in 1965, Bock studied in the art department of Berlin's Hochschule der Künste, where he received his diploma in 1993. His work has been exhibited in numerous international exhibitions, including the 2002 Venice Biennale and the Documenta X in Kassel. He is currently based in Berlin, where he continues to create interactive installations and performances. He is also a professor of Time-Based Media and Performance Art at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
