Jeff Wall's Biography
Jeff Wall is a Canadian artist and photographer who has become one of the most influential figures in contemporary art. Born in 1946 in Vancouver, Wall has been creating photographs since the late 1970s and has become renowned for his large-scale transparencies mounted on light boxes. His photographs often explore themes of alienation, everyday life, and the urban environment of his native city.
