Isa Genzken's Biography
Isa Genzken is a German contemporary artist known for her explorations of painting, sculpture, and installation. She was born in 1948 in Bad Oldesloe, Germany and is considered a major voice in post-war German art. Genzken's work often displays a fascination with everyday objects, materials and images, which she arranges in unexpected ways to create works that play with form, color, and texture.
