Ignasi Aballí's Biography
Ignasi Aballí is a Spanish visual artist born in Barcelona in 1958. He is considered one of the main figures in conceptual photography and installation art. His work is focused on the concept of the ephemeral, investigating the relationship between what is seen and what is not seen, between the visible and the invisible. He often uses everyday objects to create installations that explore the relationship between art and its environment. His works have been exhibited in many international galleries and museums, including the Musée d'art moderne et contemporain de Saint-Étienne (MAMC) in France and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid.
