Grazia Varisco's Biography
Grazia Varisco is an Italian artist and a member of the Post-War Gruppo T. Born in 1937, Varisco began her artistic career in the 1950s, studying at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. She was a member of Gruppo T, an experimental group of avant-garde artists who sought to combine traditional artistic methods with scientific research. As a member of the group, Varisco's work was centered around the exploration of light and space. She has exhibited her work in Italy, Germany, and the United States, and her work can be found in numerous public and private collections. Varisco's work often plays with the idea of optical illusion, using light and color to create abstract works that appear to be three-dimensional.
