Giorgio Griffa's Biography
Giorgio Griffa is an Italian painter of the Post-War period. He was born in Turin, Italy in 1936. He is known for his minimalistic artworks, often consisting of just a few lines, shapes and/or colors. He is associated with the Arte Povera movement, as well as the conceptual art movement. Griffa has exhibited his work in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout the years. In 2020, his work was featured in the 25 years of the Mudam Collection exhibition at the MUDAM - Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean in Luxembourg.
