Gerold Miller

Gerold Miller is a contemporary German painter and sculptor. Born in 1961 in the district of Schwäbisch Gmünd, Miller is renowned for his abstract paintings and sculptures. He completed his studies in painting at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, where he received his master's degree in 1986. Miller's works have been exhibited internationally, including in Germany, the UK, the USA, Spain and Japan. Miller's paintings are composed of geometric shapes, often in bright and vivid colors. He has also experimented with different painting techniques, including the use of spray paint and other unconventional materials. His sculptures are characterized by their large scale and intricate detail. He often uses a variety of materials, such as wood, metal, plastic and paper, to create his sculptures. Miller has also been active in teaching, lecturing and curating. He has held teaching positions at the Academy of Arts in Berlin and the Academy of Arts in Nuremberg. He has also lectured at universities and art institutions around the world. He has curated exhibitions for several galleries and museums, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Düsseldorf and the Kunsthaus Zurich.
