Franck Scurti's Biography
Franck Scurti is a French contemporary artist best known for his time-based media works. He was born in 1965 in France. He received his MFA in Fine Arts from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1994.
Scurti is a multidisciplinary artist who works with a variety of media including video, photography, drawing, sculpture, installation, and performance. His works often address themes of identity, memory, and history. He has presented his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe, the United States and Asia. Scurti has been the recipient of numerous awards and residencies, including the Villa Médicis Hors-les-Murs in New York and the Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto. He currently lives and works in Paris.
