Eva Lootz's Biography
Eva Lootz is a German sculptor, born in 1940. She is known for her large-scale abstract sculptures, which often explore themes of identity, history and memory. Her sculptures are often made of steel, stone and wood and feature a range of materials such as paper, fabric and other found objects. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Europe, including the PalaisPopulaire in Berlin, and the Louvre in Paris. She has received numerous awards and honors, including the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
