Daniel Boyd's Biography
Daniel Boyd is an Australian artist, born in 1982. He is best known for his work in the contemporary and ultra-contemporary movements, which he combines with traditional Aboriginal art to create works that reflect his own cultural identity. Boyd has exhibited his work in numerous exhibitions, including the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Queensland Art Gallery. He has held solo exhibitions in the United States, Australia, and other countries. He has also been commissioned for public art projects, including the design of a mural for the National Gallery of Australia. Boyd is an advocate for Indigenous rights and is an active member of the Indigenous community.
