Dana Schutz's Biography
Dana Schutz is an American painter born in 1976. She is a highly acclaimed contemporary artist known for her vibrant and expressive paintings that explore the human condition. She often works with a range of media including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and charcoal. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States and Europe and is held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
