Daido Moriyama's Biography

Daido Moriyama is a Japanese photographer, born in 1938 in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture. He is best known for his black-and-white street photography and snapshot-like imagery. Moriyama's work has been deeply influenced by the angst and alienation of post-War Japan. His style was also influenced by the works of William Klein and other contemporary photographers.
