Cristina Lucas's Biography
Cristina Lucas (born 1973 in Spain) is a contemporary Spanish artist best known for her multimedia works that explore the ways in which technology, memory and identity intersect in contemporary culture. Lucas’s works often take the form of video installations, immersive experiences, and interactive installations. She has exhibited in solo and group shows in Europe, the United States, and South America, and her works have been acquired by major collections, including the Guggenheim Museum in New York and the Tate Modern in London. Lucas is a professor of media arts at the University of Barcelona.
