Claire Fontaine's Biography
Claire Fontaine is a French artist whose work is rooted in the Ultra-Contemporary movement. Her practice is centered around sculpture and installation art. She was born in 2004 and is based in France. Fontaine's work often explores themes of identity, feminism, and the human condition. She uses a variety of materials to create her installations, often using found objects to create a unified whole. Her works often feature a combination of painting, sculpture, and multimedia elements. Fontaine has exhibited in galleries throughout Europe and the United States. Her work has been featured in the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Centre Pompidou, and the British Museum.
