Christian Jankowski's Biography
Christian Jankowski is a German contemporary artist. He was born in 1968 in Göttingen, Germany, and is known for creating works that explore and blur the boundaries between art and popular culture. Jankowski’s works often take the form of video installations and performances and incorporate elements of popular culture such as television and advertising. He is also a founding member of the New Gothic Art movement, which seeks to explore the dark side of life and culture. Jankowski has exhibited his work in numerous international galleries and museums, including the Tate Modern in London, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
