Carol Bove's Biography
Carol Bove is an American contemporary artist born in 1971. She is best known for her sculptures and installations that explore the relationship between form and function. She often combines everyday objects with industrial materials, such as steel and concrete, to create pieces that challenge our preconceived notions about each material. She has exhibited widely around the world and her work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
