Camille Henrot's Biography

Camille Henrot is a French artist and filmmaker born in 1978. She is best known for her work in time-based media, post-internet art, and digital animation. Henrot's works often explore themes of time, history, and technology. She has exhibited widely in Europe and the United States, including at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the New Museum in New York. Her work has been featured in several major international exhibitions, including the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011 and the 12th Istanbul Biennial in 2015. She recently had a solo exhibition at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, titled "The Pale Fox".
