Cameron Rowland's Biography
Cameron Rowland is an American artist who works in a variety of media, including sculpture, installation, and photography. His work often examines the ways in which capitalism and race shape the material world. He is a member of the Ultra-Contemporary movement and his work has been exhibited at the Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen, Denmark. Rowland is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and holds an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2018 Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters & Sculptors Grant, the 2019 Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Biennial Award, and the 2020 Deutsche Bank Art Award.
