Barbara Probst's Biography
Barbara Probst is a German artist and photographer. She was born in 1964 in Munich, Germany. She studied photography at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig, Germany and has been working as a professional photographer since 1994. Her work is characterized by her use of multiple images to explore the relationship between time and space. She is known for her series Exposures, in which she captures a single moment in time and space from multiple perspectives. Her work has been exhibited widely throughout Europe and the US, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. In 2017, she was awarded the Hasselblad Foundation International Award in Photography.
