Aurélien Froment's Biography
Aurélien Froment is a French artist and filmmaker born in 1976. He works primarily in time-based media, such as video and performance, and also produces installations and sculptures. He is associated with the ultra-contemporary movement and his work engages with themes of identity, labor, and the everyday. His work has been exhibited at international venues, including the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Whitechapel Gallery in London, among others. He has also participated in several biennials, including the 2018 Liverpool Biennial.
