Asunción Molinos Gordo's Biography
Asunción Molinos Gordo is a Spanish artist who works with a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation and photography. Born in 1979, she graduated from the University of Barcelona with a degree in Fine Arts in 2002. Since then, she has been exploring the ideas of identity, memory and belonging with her work, often drawing upon her personal experiences and her Catalan heritage. Her artwork has been featured in numerous international exhibitions, including the Intersecting Memories. Collections as a Territory for Creation and An Ocean in Every Drop. She is also a member of the Spanish Association of Women in the Visual Arts (ASAVA). Her work has been featured in publications such as Artefacto, Altaïr and El País.
