Annette Kelm's Biography
Annette Kelm is a German visual artist who works with photography, film and installation. Born in 1975 in Cologne, Germany, Kelm studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld (1995-2001) and the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne (2000-2002). Her work has been exhibited widely in solo and group shows in Europe and the United States, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In her photographs, Kelm explores a variety of themes, including the mundane, the everyday, and the overlooked. Her work often blurs the boundaries between art and reality, focusing on the beauty and strangeness of the ordinary.
