Amelie von Wulffen's Biography
Amelie von Wulffen is a German contemporary artist and a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich since 2010. Her works are known for their take on modernism, existentialism and surrealism. Her works have been exhibited in numerous galleries and international exhibitions, including the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, the National Museum of Art in Osaka, and the Kunstmuseum Basel. She has also been the recipient of several awards, including the Käthe Kollwitz Prize in 1998 and the Goethe Medal in 2003. Her works have been featured in several books and catalogues, including The Art of Amelie von Wulffen: Paintings and Photographs.
