Alberto Garutti's Biography
Alberto Garutti is an Italian contemporary artist born in 1948 in Milan. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and has exhibited his work internationally, including at Documenta and the Venice Biennale. Garutti’s work has been described as a ‘subtle exploration of the fragility of the human condition in a rapidly changing world’. He creates paintings, sculptures, installations, and photographs that reflect on the everyday life of the contemporary world, often employing everyday objects and materials. His work has been widely exhibited and collected in Europe, the United States, and Japan.
